Are you looking for affordable and quality makeup? Look no further than Sheglam! In this review, I will share my experience and honest thoughts about Sheglam's makeup line. From eyeshadows to foundation, concealer, mascara, and more, I tested their products to give you an in-depth review. So, let's dive in and find out if Sheglam is worth your investment!

Sheglam Eyeshadows: An Up-Close Look

First up, let's talk about Sheglam eyeshadows. I was intrigued by their beautiful packaging and the promise of high-quality pigments. I opted for the Sheglam Breeze eyeshadow palette, which features 9 pastel and warm shades perfect for spring and summer looks.

The packaging felt luxurious, and considering the price of only $6, it was a steal! However, when it came to the swatches, I must admit I was slightly disappointed. The mattes felt dry and not as creamy as I had hoped. On the other hand, the metallic/shimmer shades performed well. But remember, swatches don't tell the whole story!

Eyeshadow Tutorial using the Sheglam Breeze Palette

To truly test the Sheglam eyeshadows, I decided to create an eyeshadow tutorial using the Breeze palette. I started by applying a light, warm matte shade as a transition color in my crease. Then, I deepened the crease with a darker shade. The pink/lilac shade added a pop of color to my outer corner, while the blue shade disappointed me with its pigmentation.

However, I redeemed the palette by combining metallic purples on top of the lilac shade, which created a stunning effect. Finally, I used a gorgeous gold shade in my tear duct to highlight my look.

In conclusion, although the swatches didn't meet my expectations, the Sheglam eyeshadow palette proved to be a worthy companion during the tutorial. It delivered beautiful results and lasted throughout the day.

Sheglam Concealer: A Concealer worth Raving About

Next up is the Sheglam concealer. I opted for the shade "coconut flakes," which turned out to be more suitable for concealing imperfections rather than highlighting my skin tone. Nevertheless, I found the formula to be incredibly lightweight and soft, providing medium-to-full coverage.

This concealer instantly covered my under-eyes and other facial imperfections. Its buildable formula allowed me to add more coverage where needed. I must note that it dries matte, but not completely dry and cakey. To prevent creasing, I followed my trusted undereye concealer hacks, and the results were impressive.

Sheglam Foundation: Luxury at an Affordable Price

One product I was particularly excited about was the Sheglam COMPLEXION PRO Long Lasting Breathable Matte Foundation. With 30 shades to choose from, I selected "sand," and it proved to be the perfect match for my skin tone.

The foundation arrived in an incredibly luxurious package, giving a high-end feel. It features a glass packaging with a matte black and gold cover, which surprised me considering its price of only $9. The foundation itself had a thick yet breathable texture, providing full coverage with a soft matte finish. It lasted all day without any issues, and I was impressed by its quality and performance.

While I can't confidently recommend it for professional use without further testing, it is certainly a game-changer for personal use.

Sheglam Skinfluencer Full Coverage Foundation Balm: Worth a Try!

Sheglam also introduced their Skinfluencer Foundation Balm, and being a fan of foundation balms, I couldn't resist trying it out. The description promised high coverage with a non-greasy, long-wearing formula that adheres smoothly to the skin.

The foundation balm comes in 30 different shades, providing options for various skin tones. I chose the shade "Sand." Although it didn't work well for my oily skin, I can confidently say that it is an exceptional product. The coverage is impressive, and its lightweight formula makes it comfortable to wear all day. It blends seamlessly with a makeup brush or sponge, giving a soft matte finish that lasts.

Sheglam Eyeliner: Perfect for Hooded Eyes

As someone with hooded eyes, finding an eyeliner that works well can be a challenge. However, the Sheglam waterproof eyeliner exceeded my expectations. It is long-lasting, smudge-proof, and truly waterproof. The duo eyeliner features a pen eyeliner on one end and a wing stamp on the other, making it versatile for different eyeliner styles. For my hooded eyes, I stuck to the thin pen eyeliner side, and it worked like a charm.

Sheglam Liquid Blush: Lightweight and Breathable

Liquid blushes have been trending, and Sheglam offers their own version. The liquid-gel formula comes in 4 shades and claims to have a long-wearing effect. I tried the shade "love cake," a lovely light pink.

The blush felt lightweight and breathable on my skin, and it blended effortlessly using my Real Techniques Custom Slide Blush Brush. While it is not waterproof or extremely long-wearing, setting it with a powder blush helps the color last longer. What impressed me the most was the price point and the impressive packaging.

Sheglam Lipstick: A Winning Combination

To complete my look, I mixed Sheglam's matte liquid lipstick in the shade "sugar" and the lip tint in the shade "wake-up call." The matte liquid lipstick offers full coverage, a non-drying formula, and long-wear capabilities, making it a great option for any occasion. On the other hand, the lip tint provides a long-lasting stain that stays on for hours, even after eating. It may be slightly challenging to remove, but the longevity is unparalleled.

Sheglam Mascara: A Hidden Gem

Last but not least, I tried Sheglam's waterproof mascara, a crucial product for my hooded eyes. This mascara provided the lift and longevity I needed throughout the day. For only $4, it outperformed many other drugstore mascaras I've tried. It is essential to note that removing waterproof mascara requires an oil-based eye makeup remover and some care, but the results make it worth the extra effort.
