Beauty and the Beast

Prince Adam, a handsome and sarcastic young prince, dwelled in a lavish French castle where he had everything his heart desired. On one Christmas Eve, his kindness was put to the test when a beggar woman sought refuge at his castle, offering a single rose as payment. Repulsed by her appearance, he callously turned her away. Little did he know, this beggar woman was a beautiful and powerful Enchantress in disguise.

The Enchantress A powerful Enchantress reveals her true form.

In a moment of regret, Prince Adam attempted to apologize, but it was too late. The Enchantress saw the sarcasm in his heart and transformed him into a terrifying beast. She also cursed the entire castle, turning it into a foreboding place and the servants into anthropomorphic household objects. Ashamed of his new appearance, the Beast secluded himself within the castle's walls, with only a magic mirror as his window to the outside world.

Years passed, and the enchanted rose given to him by the Enchantress began to bloom. The Beast learned that if he could find true love and earn her love in return before the last petal fell, the spell would be broken. However, if he failed, he would remain a beast forever.

A Fateful Encounter

One day, Maurice, an old man, unknowingly trespassed into the Beast's castle. Out of anger and ignorance, the Beast imprisoned him. Maurice's daughter, Belle, bravely confronted the Beast and offered herself as a prisoner in exchange for her father's freedom. Reluctantly, the Beast agreed, but under the condition that Belle would remain in the castle forever.

As time passed, Belle tended to the Beast's wounds after he saved her from a pack of wolves. A friendship blossomed between them, and eventually, the Beast fell deeply in love with Belle. Putting her happiness before his own, he released her to care for her ailing father.

A Battle for Love

Gaston, a rival suitor, rallied a mob to kill the Beast. In the midst of the confrontation, Belle returned and pleaded for Gaston to stop. Upon hearing her voice, the Beast found renewed strength and fought back, realizing that Belle truly loved him. Overpowering Gaston, he spared his life but warned him never to return.

Reunited with Belle, the Beast embraced her with joy. However, Gaston, driven by jealousy, stabbed the Beast in a cowardly act. As Belle wept and professed her love for him, the last petal fell from the enchanted rose. Miraculously, the Beast revived and transformed back into his human prince form.

The Enchanted Christmas

In a midquel to the tale, set shortly after the Beast rescued Belle, the castle prepared for Christmas festivities. Reluctant to celebrate due to the curse cast upon him on Christmas Day, the Beast withheld his enthusiasm. Meanwhile, an treacherous servant, Forte the Pipe Organ, plotted to have Belle banished from the castle, as he withheld a special place in the Beast's heart.

Belle, determined to make the Beast happy, set out to find the perfect Christmas tree. Despite breaking the Beast's rule of leaving the castle, she discovered his childhood love for Christmas trees.
