Using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution over the past three months has been a game-changer. I strictly follow the instructions and only apply it in the evening.
Initially, my routine involved cleansing followed by applying the toning solution. Then, I would use Alpha Arbutin along with either rose hip seed oil or a retinol sleeping mask. However, my routine has evolved, and I now cleanse and tone before using a peptide nighttime recovery cream.
I experienced no irritation or burning sensation while using the toning solution. Since my skin is naturally acne-free and relatively smooth, it's challenging to gauge the product's impact in those areas. Unfortunately, I didn't notice significant changes in my areas of hyperpigmentation, although occasionally, my largest dark spot appeared lighter.
